Women in cowboy boots are a more common sight today than ever before. Once upon a time cowboy boots were worn for practical purposes only. These purposes included horseback riding and ranch duties. The first step to wearing cowboy boots is to determine the proper size. This can be done easily by having your foot measured by a professional shoe salesperson or bootmaker. You may find that you have an easy to fit shoe size, or you may have a half size or wide width size. Next you should determine what look you like best.
